PureStem® E-44 Progenitor expresses CST1, CST2 (cystatins; proteinase inhibitors found in saliva, tears and seminal fluid) and STATH in its undifferentiated form. PureStem Progenitor E44 was derived from the parental hES cell line MA03 as described (West, M.D. et al, 2008).

PureStem Progenitor E44, is sold at passage 12 (the original clonal isolate confluent in a 1.9 cm2 well was P1), which corresponds to approximately 15 doublings since the first 1.9 cm2 well and approximately 33 doublings since its original clonal plating.
