PureStem Progenitor SM22 expresses the markers tyrosine hydroxylase (TH), CDH18, FGF13, DOK5, and ZIC4. The most distal HOX gene expression is HOXA2, B2.
Upon differentiation in the presence of BMP4 and TGFβ3 this progenitor expresses osteochondral markers and up-regulates MYH11 and C1QTNF3 in micro-mass culture in the presence of TGFβ3.
PureStem Progenitor SM22 was derived from the registered parental hES cell line H9 (WA09) as described (West, M.D. et al, 2008).
